Membership at the club varies widely in age, from very small children to members who are still sailing well past their pension age!!
You don’t need to own a boat to be able to sail at the club; as many of the boats are sailed by two people. Crewing for somebody else is the perfect and inexpensive way to introduce yourself to the sport.
Our annual subscription rates (for the year commencing 1st January 2023) are as follows:
Junior (age up to 7): No cost
Junior (age 8-15): £36
Youth (age 16 & 17): £36
Student (full time): £60
Full member (age 18 to 23): £90
Full member: £186
Joint membership (two cohabiting adults): £240
Family membership (two adults plus children under 18): £279
Boat fee: £69
Boat fee (Youth / Junior): £27
We recognise that a new member joining from midway through the sailing season should not expect to pay the full annual rate. We therefore have a sliding scale of membership fees with your first year’s subscription reducing in proportion to the number of months left in the year.
So, for example, applications for new membership received in June will only pay half annual subscription for that year and applications received in September will only pay 25% of annual subscription for that year.

Paying for your subscription
You can pay for for subscription by bank transfer, by following the instructions on the form. Alternatively, you can pay by Direct Debit via Webcollect, here.
